In Greenland, five women who have overcome cancer are trekking 122 km across the ice with sleds weighing over 30 kg and temperatures as low as -35 ºC. An extreme challenge where physical endurance, mental fortitude, and teamwork reflect life after cancer and personal triumph.
There are silences that weigh heavy. And others that show you everything you've overcome.
The third edition of the Pelayo Vida Challenge takes place in the heart of the Arctic, one of the most extreme environments on the planet. Five women cancer survivors face Arctic sports expedition of more than 100 kilometers on foot, in a landscape dominated by ice, deep crevasses, and temperatures reaching -35ºC.
They advance without external assistance, pulling 30-kilogram sleds and crossing glaciers in an exercise of absolute endurance. Each day demands not only physical strength but a total connection with the environment to keep moving forward in a place where mistakes are not an option.
